Coach Wayne,
Thank you. I talked to my Doctor. He said that not to wear a wrist brace,
he said that all it does is put more pressure on my wrist and it would
make the problem worse. He said to do wrist exercises and squeeze a stress
ball ever other day for 30 min.
I
already have your video. It is a good video, it helped me with my back
handsprings.
You must have been a good gymnast when you were a child because you're
still good!!! LOL!
Write Back and Thank you!
I've
kept up my gymnastics pretty well for 24 years... and I'm still trying
to improve. Thanks.
Keep working on those wrist exercises in the video and put that stress
ball (usually a 2" diameter solid rubber ball or a racquetball-ball)
in your coat pocket and carry it with you EVERYWHERE so you are CERTAIN
to do those exercises. You probably should keep stretching the wrist also...
like you would do in a normal gymnastics class.
In the mean-time... there's nothing that prevents you from working on
your leg and abdomen strength. Get your video out and get to work on everything
that doesn't need both wrists.
